Transformations and calculations

  • Converting column to relationship

Start converting your flat table into a graph by converting column to relationship. You can use this feature to create to-one or to-many relationships. For an example use, see Lesson 2 of the tutorials.

  • Converting table to relationship

If your data is structured in a certain way, it might be possible to convert a table into a relationship. This feature will remove the table, and copy data from its columns into newly-created relationship.

  • Subtract tables

Subtraction feature allows you to perform set difference operation on two tables. You will select a key column in both tables, which will be used for comparing the two rows.

  • Fuzzy matching

Fuzzy matching is used to establish relationships based on text values. Using a comparison algorithm, "similarity" score is calculated for each pair of text values, and if the score meets the selected threshold, the relationship is created.

  • Processing text

Process text features allows you to convert written text into a graph. The algorithm will look for nouns and verbs in your text, creating a graph that illustrates connections between described entities.

  • Sentiment analysis

Sentiment analysis lets you calculate sentiment value between -1 and 1, based on the text value in the node. This calculation allows you to decide for each node, whether associated text conveys positive or negative emotion.

  • Regression

With regression, you can select multiple numerical columns for input and output. After configuring, the regression will be executed against your data, and you can either fill empty values, or add a new column.
